Surprise surprise. The developers show photos from East Belmont and the County of Albemarle. This has Nothing to do with the Mill Village. This has more to do with the bad planning that can occur on inter-jurisdictional boundaries.

Now, once upon a time Henry Marchant, president of the mill from 1864 to 1910 maintained a recreational park on Brennan's land south of the RR tracks for the Mill Village residents. The park was used for baseball, shuffleboard, and picnics. Now Marchant's park, in the viewshed of Monticello, is an Industrial Park. Creation of uber-developers Virginia Land Company.
