I ride a bike: as long as the sun is out and the snow drifts are below one foot, there's always a bright side. :-) But I miss the subway. Things'll get back to some semblance of normality, and I think that after the other stuff this town's been through, from 9/11 to the last, lengthy blackout, this is simply a major inconvenience by contrast. (Again, of course, that might be too easy for me to say, not having a day job to fight my way from Brooklyn into "the city" for, and pedaling my way to most destinations.)
