Cathy Thomas

Today is Cathy Thomas' last day on the Woolen Mills route. She has been delivering in an accurate timely fashion since before I can remember. She smiles with her eyes in rain, snow, sleet.
She'll be missed!

Here in New York, it seems like we don't have many long-timers for letter carriers. Not too many of those are all that friendly, either. Now it's the UPS driver who's the "regular", and, in my case at least, he a pretty jolly guy.

Does anyone still give their postal carrier a bottle of whisky for the holidays?
