That is the question. Possibly, someone from Chestertown will confirm.
I tend to avoid photographing memorial projects.
Arlington Cemetery represents 100+ years of service. With great humility and respect I take photos there.
In this case I found the residential setting and the markers compelling. Americans in Iraq? The constructors didn't provide an explanation.
If there was a place big enough, someone could do all deaths, all wars.
I'd photograph that.
