NIMBY

Met with two of the idealistic developers yesterday. We value our neighborhood's rural feel and history (this was a mill village for 130 years). They value the fact that they found a cheap lot.

The developers hope to drop down some new urbanism, squeeze in a "pocket neighborhood" and maybe clear a half million.

Bill, you're the man. I admire the love and dedication you have to the Woolen Mills neighborhood. It's a real treasure. As for these developers, I thought we had enough overpriced housing in Charlottesville? Is there still a demand?
